Cordlife Group Limited ("Cordlife", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") is a consumer healthcare company catering to the mother and child segment. Established in May 2001 and successfully listed on the Mainboard of Singapore Exchange Trading Limited ("SGX-ST") in 2012, the Group is one of the pioneers in the cord blood banking industry in Asia.

Cordlife is amongst the leading players for private cord blood banking services in all the markets it operates in, namely Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Indonesia and the Philippines. Inhabiting a distinctive niche in the healthcare industry, the Group is one of the foremost private cord blood banks to have gained a solid foothold in Asia. In the last 16 years, Cordlife has dedicated its undertakings to achieve market leadership in the industry. The Group's processing and storage facilities in Hong Kong, India and Singapore are accredited by AABB, the world's gold standard in cord blood banking and its facilities in Indonesia and the Philippines are also ISO-certified. Cordlife Singapore achieved accreditation by FACT-Netcord, making it one of only six cord blood banks in the world to achieve accreditations from both AABB and FACT-Netcord simultaneously. . The Group’s majority owned Hong Kong and India subsidiaries, Hong Kong Screening Centre Limited (“HKSC”) and Cordlife Sciences (India) Pvt. Ltd. (“Cordlife India”), have also received accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (“CAP”), which is awarded to facilities that meet or exceed the highest standards in laboratory services. In July 2017, Cordlife Philippines became the first cord blood bank in the country to be accredited by AABB.

Cordlife Group Limited is the longest operating cord blood bank in Singapore since 2001 with over 50,000* families entrusting their baby's cord blood with us.

Since our inception, we have established a quality system and proven track record of reliable cord blood banking services and transplant use track record.

Our emphasis and commitment to quality was recognized when our facility in Singapore was internationally accredited by AABB (formerly known as the American Association of Blood Banks) in 2005, and subsequently reaccredited five more times. As of November 2015, Cordlife has been further accredited by FACT (Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy).

ABOUT AABB

Originally named the "American Association of Blood Banks", AABB is a non-profit international association of organizations and individuals who are involved in transfusion and cell transplantation medicine. The list of AABB Accredited Cord Blood Facilities is online and updated regularly. AABB accredited facilities are inspected every two years, and the AABB standards are updated on a two-year cycle by subject matter experts to reflect the evolving nature of the field.

AABB was founded in 1947 and is headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, USA. Over the years they have developed voluntary accreditation standards for various types of blood banks, transfusion services, and laboratories.

ABOUT FACT

The Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT), also a non-profit corporation, was co-founded by the International Society for Cellular Therapy (ISCT) and the American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation (ASBMT) in 1996.

FACT is the leader in international standards for cellular therapy, used in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The FACT accreditation, a symbol of excellence, has stringent standards, with rigorous and thorough inspections across organizations' processes and practices. Organizations that achieve the FACT accreditation have demonstrated that their patient care and laboratory practices are of exceptional quality, and are in compliance to the highest international standards.
